USO

We are proud to partner with the USO, the leading human-centered non- profit dedicated to the well-being of all people — including families — serving in the U.S. military.

Easy Day Foundation provides grants to help fund the USO’s Transition Program which aids active duty, Reserve, National Guard and military spouses by offering professional development services throughout the duration of military service as well as in preparation for life post-military.

Folded Flag Foundation

Supporting the Families of our Fallen Heroes.

The Folded Flag Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides educational scholarships and support grants to the spouses and children of the U.S. military and government personnel who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations.

Their vision is a total embrace of family after loss, with education as the cornerstone.

They achieve this by:

  • Assisting Families with their transition to civilian life through our gold star family service grant program
  • Helping Spouses obtain an education, establish careers and more effectively provide for their children
  • Supporting Education of children in K – 12 (private school, individual tutoring, specialized programs, etc.) to ensure they are on a successful path towards college
  • Continuing Support for the children as they make their way through college and into their careers

Folded Flag Foundation’s mission is to provide educational scholarships and support grants to the spouses and children of the United States military and government personnel who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat or stateside military operations.

Scholarships and grants are available to qualifying spouses of fallen heroes and their children under the age of 26 to help provide a pathway to success by covering a wide range of living expense and educational needs, from kindergarten to college/trade school.

Operation Red Wings Foundation

Healing Veterans and their Families.

At Operation Red Wings Foundation, their mission is clear: to provide Veterans and their families with a path to healing from their invisible wounds. Through a combination of in-person and virtual programs, led by experienced Veterans working alongside therapists, they offer individuals and their families the powerful healing tools they need.

Whether dealing with an active-duty service member, a Veteran, or a family member, they invite all to explore their confidential programs. Designed to address a range of issues including Post Combat Education, Combat Traumatic Stress, Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (MTBI), Chronic Pain Issues, Military Sexual Trauma, and Family Impact, their programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of those who need it most.

The first step may seem to be the most difficult towards healing, however their team is ready to guide Veterans and provide the tools and environment necessary to help those who need it get back in step.

With a 100% rating from Charity Navigator, Operation Red Wings Foundation is committed to supporting and enriching the lives of Veterans on their journey to wellness.

Boot Campaign

Boot Campaign was born out of the desire of everyday Americans to show their gratitude towards our service members, Veterans, and their families. They symbolize this appreciation by lacing up combat boots, a clear and visible sign of military service.

For over a decade, they have been able to make a difference thanks to patriots all across the country who believe in their mission and have helped them share it with their loved ones, friends, and colleagues.

Their mission is to bring together all Americans to honor and improve the lives of Veterans and military families through personalized programs that make a real impact.

They are proud to be recognized and accredited by the Better Business Bureau alongside 25 other national Veteran and military service non-profits and meet the highest standards of accountability and effectiveness. This is further validated by their Platinum rating from Candid’s GuideStar and being named one of the nation’s Great Non-profits. Additionally, Charity Navigator has given them a 100% rating.

Transparency is equally important. They ensure that eighty-seven cents of every dollar donated to Boot Campaign directly supports their mission-driven programs.

Job Placement and Training

One of the most difficult tasks for our Veterans is the transition back to civilian life. At Easy Day Foundation we are passionate about getting Veterans access to quality resources to assist in creating a plan for life after military service.

Through our partners, specialists work with individuals to identify their personal and professional goals and build a roadmap to achieving them, while also identifying services and resources that are the best fit for their new career. This process ensures Veteran needs are met and foster a smooth transition into the civilian workforce, and pathway to a successful future.

Number of Male and Female Veterans in the Labor Force

In 2000, there were more male Veterans in the labor force than in 2020 because there were more workers from World War II, Korea and Vietnam eras.

As these workers retired over the past 20 years, the number of Veterans in the labor force dropped more than one-third.
